ABOUT US
Started by two artistes Keerthi Kumar and Roopa Krishnamurthy, with the vision of creating indelible and rewarding experiences for audiences and the organizers alike through specially curated events, fastidious production design and mindful execution, ARTMOS thrives in a demanding and challenging ecosystem!
Keerthi Kumar and Roopa Krishnamurthy are renowned dancers and choreographers known for their unique style of curating and executing larger than life original choreographic works. They have worked with several reputed Educational Institutions, Cultural Organisations, Artistes and Corporates to design and deliver creative & cultural experiences.
They have been studying Kathak for over a decade under the aegis of the Natya Institute of Kathak and Choreography (NIKC), founded by the renowned choreographer Guru Dr. Maya Rao. Their aspiration to be in the performing arts field has led them to continue learning and performing Kathak along with folk and martial art forms. They have completed the Vidwat grade in Kathak from Karnataka State Board. They have successfully completed a certification course in Kalaripayattu and have also attended workshops in Thang-ta and Chhau. They perform across India and abroad at various prestigious festivals and cultural events as part of the internationally acclaimed STEM Dance Kampni.
Keerthi is a faculty for Rhythm structures, Arts management and Kathak at NIKC. He is also a sought-after Lighting Designer and has presented talks on Lighting & Multimedia Design at important art seminars. He is a Natuvanar and a Padhant artiste. Keerthi also holds a Master’s in Business Administration. Roopa is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and has also completed Psychotherapy certification in Pranic Healing.
